We received an email that appears to be from the old Banco Interracciones office in San Carlos. This email is stating that "they" are willing to process the payment to Banorte, for our trust, on our behalf for a fee of 50.00 US per year. Otherwise, they say to pay Banorte directly. All the email gives is an email address or a phone number for Banorte. No physical address.

Anyone out there have a Banorte trust? How do you pay it? Can the Banorte branch in Guaymas handle it?

We have had our trust with Banorte for 12 years.  Anytime we go in to pay the trust, we just address one of the "officers" and are immediately taken care of.  Never had to wait like a banking customer.  Not knowing how the merger will change things with Banorte, but in the past, the Guaymas branch is just a "money receiver" for trusts.  If you have any difficulty, questions, etc. it is all handled from Tijuana, not even Hermosillo.  We had a receipt issue one year and it took over six months of communications via email and scanning documents to get it straightened out.  All through the office in Tijuana.

Is it possible to pay by US mail? Interacciones had a PO box in Lukeville AZ. The Puerto Penasco office picked it up.

Banorte has been responding extremely quickly to our questions, by email. They said they will take a US check at their branches. They gave specific instructions on how to make it out. Or they gave us the option of paying in pesos or dollars. As of two days ago, they were giving 20 pesos to the dollar which is a great rate right now.

I think the Interracciones address in Lukeville is where you would send it if you want to go with their 50.00 fee to process it for you.
