So, are the Guardia Civil being dispatched to respond to car accident scenes, robberies, assaults, etc?
Since the word is the municipal police are NOT responding to those calls?

Oregonian, is the Plaza Guaymas an offshoot of one of the major cartels? I have never heard of them. I believe that for at least the past couple of years the two main cartels battling for control of this area have been the Cártel Gente Nueva Salazar and the Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación.

Enlighten me, please.

i scrolled through everything you presented, i saw nothing to justify your allegations!
to imply the military is "giving it's blessing" is erroneous and unsubstantiated banter!

There is a difference.

People here are getting hit because there is money involved. These killings are planned, they are bad guys killing bad guys, dirty politicians and cops that play both sides, or cops that try to intercede.

In the states, we are seeing a lot of mass killings in schools, Las Vegas, in night clubs, and there bystanders are suffering to a higher degree because of criminals AND armed crazies. Am I never going to go to Colorado, Florida, or Las Vegas again?

I personally have not had a problem coping here since the 70's. And while I do see that being alert to my surroundings is pertanent anywhere I go, I don't see that sewing circle complaining by tourists has had a single positive effect on any of the bad elements or events around us.

Everyone warns of danger which is ok, but how many american tourists have actually been harmed by the cartels in our area in the last few years?

So to me I really don't see the point of your rant and feel its just a lot of fire fire your pants are on fire.

A Plaza is market distribution territory, nothing else.

Saying that Calderon did nothing to fight the cartels is Pri BS or at best delusional. He extradited more capos on his first day of office than other presidents did during their whole sexenio's.

And all this talk about cartels on the internet is really ill advised. If there is one thing they do not like, its people publishing information about their activities.

Ask yourself, how many "reporters" have been assassinated in the last 20 years before you hit the send button.
