wanting some firewood , back home I would just cut my own but not sure where to get down here , any suggestions ?

Ask at one of the hardware stores. I dont think they have it but they talk to a lot of people.

Or see where they get their wood at Pollo Lopez.

Mesquite can be expensive, but it burns nice and hot. A little can go a long way, especially if it is 4 inches in diameter.

Bought it many times on one of the main roads going into the Ranchitos, where the Extra is.  Not far off the main drag.  Right side of the road, heading away from the ocean.

Whatever you do, don't listen to Jimmy, he hasn't been to SC in 10 years.

Pollo Lopez and El Cobri restaurant uses wood ask for their contact info, also the guy that washes cars in parking lot for the water company is in the wood business.  If you have a chain saw and truck I have 2 dead trees you can have, about 1 cord total, PM for details.
