Maximo is the blind guy who you see around town. His roof was lost in the storm. Maybe it wasn't ever finished. He has a place in LA Manga. He has lost his sight in the last decade. I gave him a ride yesterday and saw his place. All the materials are there less some concrete, and I think my landlord has some spare beams to donate. We have some charity money coming, but I think a few extra hundred dollars and we could get the job done. You could drop off any donations to Shots or Vive Real Estate and let me know in a PM. He said he was already cold with three blankets. Please help!

Thank you everyone for the donations. We are over 2/3rds funded. Shots has a benefit dinner Friday and we should reach the cost of the roof construction and be able to replace a couple windows. Come down to the event if you can!

Thank you for all the donations! We reached the roof cost and further. No big bad wolf will blow this one off. Adrian (6221638347) looks to be doing an excellent fast job and Maximo is already sleeping warmer. Shots hosted an excellent dinner and full house. Big kudos to Carolyn, Colleen, 'Gringo' Lenny, and many more for all their support. You can still donate.

Bryan... I took a drive out to see the home that Maximo lives in. WOW nice job being done, and the guys working there were very proud of their work. I was very excited to see that there will be no metal roof to be blown away again. The cement roof had just been poured and they made a little patio with left over cement.. I didn't go inside, but if needed , maybe a nice new bed and frame to keep him off the floor...if there is $$$ left over.. Great job, well done San Carlos.
