Did anyone else notice the increase in speed on their TelMex internet account?

My last bill had a separate page which said my speed had been in creased from 20 MBs download to 30 Mbs.
Speed tests confirm I am now getting 26 and more.

No increase in billed amount...YAAY!!

Hmmm , I have fibre and "speed" is extremely good ..... BUT..... it has started "hiccuping" most obvious on face to face calls or streaming Netflix - cuts out at random , but not enough to disconnect internet "connection" just a sporadic blip , seem all that glitters may not be gold :(   !!

More tests needed .....

Ian, I am seeing the same thing in the Marina Real area.  I was running some software that did a continuous ping to notify me when this happens but all I saw was using only a 5 to 10 second outage and I did not know if it was my router, modem, or the Telmex fiber optic feed.  Your commend seems to make me think it is the fiber optic feed but I think I will try to first get my modem switched out by Telmex since that is the easiest.
