can anyone recommend the best place to buy and install shocks for a 2002 ford 1 ton 350 4x4 truck. Either Guaymas or San Carlos? Many thanks.

The prices at that Tyres Plus are simply amazing.

I have a 2000 F-350. What has led you to believe you need shocks?

One thing that is pretty common on our models (virtually the same truck) is that the ball joints in front go out. The originals were not greaseable. Make sure they aren't the problem. You can check this by jacking up the front end to get the front wheels off the ground. Use jack stands, of course. Then, grab the wheel and pull towards you and push away from you to see if there is any looseness, in and out. If there is, it's ball joints. There are replaceable ones that can be greased.

Bad ball joints will also usually be evident by very uneven wear of the tires.

Just something to check.
