I have read previous posts on FNN's but couldn't find the answer.  Can I still turn in FNN's at Km 21 when traveling northbound?  Used to be on the east side of the highway at Km 21.

You have to go into Migracion to turn them in and get your passport stamped. Can turn in at any Migracion office.

yes, I know this, but my question was, is there still a migration office on the east side of the highway at KM 21.

They do not stamp your passport anymore. Came up the other day, and my friend returned her visa, and they took it, stamped it, gave her no receipt that it had been turned in, and did not stamp her passport.

A few years ago when I stopped to turn in my FMM (for the last time!), the man behind the counter made sure I saw him toss it in the trash while he gave me a look that seemed to say ‘why are you wasting my time’?
So I don’t waste MY time anymore either.  Never had problems getting a new one after not turning in the old one — yet!!

Had the same experience, looked back and the guy was tossing it in the trash. I do not bother to turn them back in anymore.

My memory of the FMM only goes back about 30 years and I have never turned one in upon leaving the country. Many times I keep it and use the same one for multiple entry's and when it is timed out I just get another.
