Calling US numbers from Telcel phone  Rate Topic

Maybe this is common knowledge but it took me some trial and error to figure it out. 

Many people now have a US cell phone with service here in Mexico. 
To call them from your Telcel phone dial +1 then the number with area code.
No other prefixes necessary. 
On my ancient flip phone you press and hold the 0 key to get +.

The same procedure works for calling Magic Jack phones.

I don’t bother with getting the +, I just dial 001 then area code and 7 digit number for anything (cell or landline) in the US or Canada.  

Works that way on both my TelMex and TelCel phones.
