CEA has been collecting donations for many years for community services.  As of January 1, 2017, they’ve re-directed the San Carlos ambulance funds from Red Cross to Rescate, who respond to almost all emergency calls in San Carlos.  Rescate has just received slightly more than 42,000 pesos from CEA, collected from Jan 1 to March 31 of this year.  This will help cover approximately 5% of Rescate’s operating budget, which is a significant help!
The Rescate Board of Directors would like to thank the residents of San Carlos for their donations and the CEA for their recognition of Rescate as the organization that provides the primary emergency medical response in San Carlos.
